Postponement FAQ

Realscreen Summit postponed until June 2022

The Realscreen Summit planned for Austin, Texas January 25-28 has been postponed until June, 2022 and will now take place in Dana Point, California.

This difficult decision has been reached after serious consideration of the growing impact of the Omicron variant on the ability of the industry to meet at this time.

At this juncture we cannot be certain that we’ll be able to execute the caliber of event that delegates have signed up for, as buyers and speakers reassess their plans to travel. We are providing as much notice as possible to allow attendees to rebook travel; and hotel reservations booked inside the Realscreen Summit room block at the JW Marriott Austin will not be charged to clients’ credit cards and will be automatically cancelled. If you do not receive a cancellation email from the hotel by January 4, please follow up with them directly.

More details around the re-scheduled event will be released in January. Current registrations and sponsorships will be transferred to the June event. Questions should be directed to, or in the case of sponsorship, directly to the sales department.

When will we know the new dates to plan accordingly? (in-person)
The event will take place the second week of June. Exact dates will be confirmed in January and delegates will be notified by email.

What if the new dates and/or location don’t work for me? Can I get a refund or transfer to next year? (in-person)
As per our cancellation policy, any postponement of the event results in your pass moving to the dates rescheduled in 2022. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled dates and need to cancel, a 50% cancellation fee will apply as per the cancellation policy.

Can I transfer my pass over to Realscreen Summit LITE and have a refund or credit for the remaining balance? (in-person)
No. As per our cancellation policy, any postponement of the event results in your pass moving to the dates rescheduled in 2022. In-person event delegates will still have access to Realscreen Summit LITE, February 7-11, 2022 (with the exception of Speed Pitching and Meet the Distributors).

My LITE package includes content from the Austin event; will I still get that content and when?)
You will, but it will be in June when the Realscreen Summit in Dana Point has been executed.

I have already booked my flight and cannot get a full refund. Will Realscreen comp any of my hotel nights once the event is rescheduled?
No. Realscreen assumes no liability for travel costs.

I cancelled previously because I couldn’t attend and was refunded 50%. Now that the event has been postponed, will I receive a refund of the other 50%?
No. But if you would like to be registered to attend the event in June, we‘d be happy to reinstate your pass and apply the 50% cancellation fee as a credit towards the cost of your registration.
