Polly Scates is Acquisitions Manager at Channel 4. Based in London, Polly is responsible for sourcing and evaluating acquisition, co-production and presale opportunities for the Channel 4 portfolio. With a focus on non-scripted, Polly sources programming for five channels: C4, E4, M4, ALL4 and most recently 4Music.
Channel 4 is a publicly-owned and commercially-funded UK public service broadcaster, with a statutory remit to deliver high-quality, innovative, alternative content that challenges the status quo.
Prior to joining the Acquisitions department, Polly worked with the Ad Sales team as Sales Executive where she gained key commercial experience working to deliver agency deals and source incremental revenue for the company. Polly started her career supporting the distribution team at Avalon, UK.
