Ashleigh Di Tonto is Senior Vice President of Development for Trailblazer Studios.
In her role, Di Tonto is responsible for the company’s talented team of creatives and producers, developing original blue-chip, natural-history and premium documentaries, including the groundbreaking documentary Rise Again: Tulsa and the Red Summer, which premiered on National Geographic and Hulu in tandem with Juneteenth, as well as The Legacy of Black Wall Street for OWN and Discovery+.
Prior to joining Trailblazer Studios, Di Tonto was Vice President of Development at Snow Day Entertainment after having served as Director of North American Acquisitions at FremantleMedia, where she managed first-look deals and international sales.
Spending several years heading development at The Gurin Company, she worked with various networks to sell, develop and manage the creative across several successful formats, including So You Think You’d Survive (Weather Channel), Dancing Fools (ABC Family) and Win, Lose or Pawn (CMT).
Di Tonto launched her career in programming and development at TLC, where she was an integral part of a team that brought in more than 30 groundbreaking new series and specials, including Cake Boss, LA Ink, Toddlers & Tiaras and My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding.
