Kristina Edwards

VP, Current Series and Development, Unscripted Formats

TBS/TNT/truTV

Kristina Edwards serves as Vice President of Unscripted Series and Specials for WarnerMedia’s TBS and TNT, and truTV. In this role, Edwards is responsible for the creative and strategic development of content and immersive, multiplatform experiences that are tailor-made to foster and engage authentic, 24/7 relationships with audiences. Edwards is overseeing a full programming slate for all three networks including TBS’ extreme talent competition series Go-Big Show hosted by comedian Bert Kreischer and featuring celebrity judges T-Pain, Rosario Dawson, Jennifer Nettles, and AEW’s Cody Rhodes.

Go-Big Show premiered in January 2021 as TBS’ strongest unscripted launch in the last three years and is ranked as one of the top ten new unscripted series on cable this year. The series, a celebration of the most daring acts – from giant ramp jumpers to stunt archers – battling head-to-head to impress the judges and advance toward the finale’s ultimate $100,000 prize, grossed nearly 2M total viewers across three telecasts the night of its premiere. Season two premieres on Jan. 6.

Edwards is also behind truTV’s comedic cooking show Fast Foodies. The series stars “Top Chef” winners Kristen Kish, Jeremy Ford and “Iron Chef” winner Justin Sutherland competing to perfectly recreate and then skillfully reimagine their celebrity guest’s favorite fast-food item. Fast Foodies was also renewed for a second season and will return on Jan. 27.

Edwards was previously at Facebook Watch, working in unscripted development, responsible for creative oversight and managing non-scripted projects for the platform including premium titles such as Will Smith's Bucket List, Kelly Ripa and Rachel Harris’ Heads and Faces and 365 Days of Love with Sofia Vergara. Prior to Facebook Watch, Edwards served as a development consultant for Fuse, where she worked on unscripted and scripted development and modernizing programming. Edwards also spent time as Vice President of Programming and Development at MTV Networks where she was instrumental in rebranding the network as a millennial destination while leading the development and oversight of a wide variety of impactful series including RidiculousnessAmerica’s Best Dance Crew, Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory and Wonderland LIVE.
