As the SVP of Global Content, Non-Scripted at ITV Studios, Cecilie Olsen heads up the non-scripted acquisitions team, actively seeking out new third-party co-production partners as well as overseeing ITV Studios’ internal labels' non-scripted programming output for international distribution. Olsen looks for shows that are bold, brave, noisy returnable franchises and highly commercial. Successes include 24 Hours in Police Custody, Attenborough's Journey, Magical Land Of Oz and Inside Monaco.
With more than 20 years’ experience, Olsen was previously SVP Sales & Acquisitions at Argonon International, leading the division. Prior to this she was Director of Formats and Production at NBCUniversal International Studios, securing international format commissions for brands such as Queer Eye, Top Chef, Hollywood Game Night and Real Housewives. Olsen also had stints at TwoFour, helping to set up their distribution division TwoFour Rights, Target Entertainment and Fox Sports International.
