Amy Introcaso-Davis is Executive Vice President, Development and Production, Factual Programming, Discovery. In this capacity, Introcaso-Davis oversees all aspects of Discovery factual development, including discovery +, and development and production for Animal Planet, which includes strategy across all formats and platforms. She also works closely with the creative community to deliver the highest quality non-fiction content. Introcaso-Davis is a four-time Emmy® Award recipient, is based in Los Angeles and reports to Nancy Daniels, Chief Brand Officer, Discovery & Factual.
During her tenure at Discovery, Introcaso-Davis has spearheaded a team that has developed and/or produced projects including Animal Planet’s award-winning series Crikey! It’s the Irwins, The Zoo: San Diego, Surviving Joe Exotic, Crikey! It’s the Irwins: Bindi’s Wedding and TV’s original call-to-adoption event Puppy Bowl. She also oversaw the production and development of discovery+ originals that have included Pig Royalty, Carol Baskin’s Cage Fight, Crikey! It’s a Baby, Shark Academy, and The Mighty Underdogs, in addition to developing Love in the Jungle, Million Dollar Wheels and co-developing Naked and Afraid of Love.
Before joining Discovery, Introcaso-Davis served as Executive Vice President Development and Production at E! where oversaw production of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Total Bellas among others and developed and oversaw production of the highly rated Very Cavallari. Earlier, Introcaso-Davis served as EVP Programming and Development, GSN, where she oversaw scheduling, acquisitions, program strategy, development, and production. She led the network’s strategic initiative to contemporize primetime resulting in five years of growth in its key demo of Women 25-54.
Before joining GSN, Introcaso-Davis was Senior Vice President of Original Programming at Oxygen Media and earlier served as Senior Vice President of Development at Bravo where she developed programming that included Queer Eye for the Straight Guy; Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List; TheReal Housewives of Orange County and the development of The Real Housewives franchise and similar spin-off series, including Atlanta, New York and New Jersey; Million Dollar Listing; and Millionaire Matchmaker.
Introcaso-Davis is a graduate of Drew University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts.
