Andrea Brakke is the VP of Programming Strategy & Acquisitions for VICE TV. In this role she’s responsible for the strategic planning of the network across all platforms, including, linear, sites & apps, and VICE’s FAST channels. Additionally, she is responsible for all acquisitions made by the network across series, specials, and movies. Andrea joined VICE in 2015 and was a critical member of the team that oversaw the launch of the network in February 2016. Since then she has enjoyed the many bold, creative, and daring programs that have made their way onto the
network.
Before VICE, Andrea managed multiplatform scheduling at Comedy Central for six years. She is a graduate of New York University. And after 15 years of residency has only recently been comfortable calling herself a New Yorker.
