Chris Martin has 20 years of experience in finance, research and media. Spanning Consultant to CEO, Martin has served in roles at blockchain platforms, music festivals, hedge funds, broker dealers and entertainment companies. Prior to founding Sator, Martin contributed Investor Relations for Pantera Capital. Before that, Martin transacted high volumes of fiat currency and derivatives on Wall Street. Martin served 3 years as Trustee of the $1 billion Foundation and Endowment of the University of Colorado. Martin produced a music video for RCA Records, did PR on 2 Oscar-winning films and is EP of the comedy series “Hold On For Dear Life” at Beacon Pictures. Martin’s first employer was the Federal Reserve System where she researched international capital flows with the Director of International Finance, Peter Hooper, Advisor to Greenspan.

Martin graduated CU Boulder, Summa Cum Laude, with a degree in International Economics. Years later, Martin returned as Commencement Speaker of the graduating class of CU’s School of Economics. Martin did her MBA at UCLA Anderson and holds VFR private pilot as well as Series 7 & 63 licenses.  Martin studied abroad in China and Spain. Martin’s maternal family lineage is Poirier. Poiriers held a family seat in the seigneurie of Amfreville in Normandy.

Martin served on the Board of Geena Davis’s Institute on Gender in Media and the Board of Community Leaders Vital Voices. Martin orchestrated entire wishes coming true for three separate Make-A-Wish Foundation kids. She established a scholarship fund in the name of her late Grandfather and served for six years as Mentor within the “I Have a Dream Foundation.” Martin initiated the NFTs-for-charity initiative at Sator. Ms. Martin has been an invited guest of Forbes Women of Power dinner and has received official recognition from many government officials for her leadership and philanthropy.
