Alison brings 30 years of equalities expertise working across the arts, creative industries, film festivals and productions a project manager, producer,equalities diversity and inclusion consultant, digital accessibility activist/campaigner (as @peskypeople) and she is also a performance poet/filmmaker. Currently trained as one of twelve Access Coordinators available to work in the screen and broadcast sector within the UK.
Her previous roles include developing BFI Diversity Standards Screen Scotland pilot criteria and as Access Coordinator and consultant for a number of Scotland’s film festivals implementing wide-ranging measures to increase audience diversity which has become standard feature across Scotland’s film festivals (including Scottish Queer International Film Festival, Take One Action, Femspectives, SANDS International Film Festival and Iberdocs).
