Speaker Renata Lombardo
Renata Lombardo is a veteran unscripted development executive and producer who serves as SVP of Development and Current Non-Scripted at Scout Productions. Passionate about developing new talent and reinventing familiar names, she has spent over two decades working with the industry’s premiere content creators. Renata is the Executive Producer for all of the company’s recent unscripted projects, including the upcoming transformation series The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning with Amy Poehler.
Renata believes that the best content comes from authentic representation and centering a community’s voice in their own storytelling. The Emmy-winning voguing competition series Legendary – a concept she originally developed and brought to Scout – highlights the traditionally ignored Ballroom community and supersizes the Ball experience as a fabulous, over-the-top competition. Renata is also the Executive Producer of Scout’s streetwear competition series The Hype on Max and played a critical role in that show’s early development.
