As President, Cineflix Productions, Charles Tremayne oversees production in Canada and the US from our Toronto and New York offices. His credits include long-running hits American Pickers and Mayday, crime series The Last 24, Secrets of the Morgue, The Eleven, Motives & Murders: Cracking the Case, Surviving Evil, Detectives Club: New Orleans, Nowhere to Hide, Nothing Personal, and William Shatner’s Weird or What? Scripted credits include Believe Me: The Abduction of Lisa McVey, Girl in the Bunker, Girl in the Box, and Gangland Undercover.
Before joining Cineflix in August 2009, Charles served as an Emmy® Award-winning Executive Producer in charge of RDF’s east coast production base which produced Wife Swap for ABC, The Detonators for Discovery, Lizard Lick for truTV, and co-produced Fugitive Chronicles for A&E.
Prior to that, he was at Granada and ITV, where he spearheaded a joint venture with The New York Times, started Airline for A&E, created Room Raiders for MTV, co-created the long-running First 48 for A&E, and has produced several other series for Discovery, TLC, HGTV, truTV, and PBS. Originally in the UK, he was producer and editor of World in Action and executive producer of daily show This Morning.
Charles served as the Chairman of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in New York.
