Marcie Hume is Senior Executive Producer for A&E, responsible for developing, creating and overseeing new series for the network. She joined A&E in August 2017.
Her current projects for A&E include the limited original docu-series, The Devil Next Door, which looks at the secretive Word of Faith Fellowship Church and shocking abuse alleged by former members of the church.
Hume began her documentary career at the BBC in London, and has created and produced a range of series for the BBC and Channel 4 in the UK, including Confessions of a Doctor, exploring the social history of medicine in Britain; Hidden Talent, which used cutting edge research to find untapped abilities among the public in the UK; and Titanic: The Mission, an epic 6-part series that recreated elements of the famous ship.
In the US, she has created and Executive Produced series for the Discovery Channel (Edge of Alaska, Catching Monsters), and National Geographic Channel (Rocky Mountain Law). Her 2008 documentary film Hood to Coast was released in 370 theaters nation-wide through Fathom Events, and her award-winning 2016 documentary Magicians: Life in the Impossible is now available globally on Netflix.
