Patrick Jager

Founder

CORE Innovation Group

CEO of CORE Innovation Group (www.core-ig.com) Patrick Jager is an award-winning, multi-discipline media executive - having held leadership and creative positions in broadcast, cable and digital media outlets. A dynamic leader for an ever-changing business climate, Jager is dedicated to the role content plays in every business and every interaction, with an emphasis in activating powerful ideas through storytelling.

Content drives business, drives interactions, drives people. Yet content is thought of as a 'given' vs. something that has to be challenged and redefined if it is to remain important. No longer can networks, brands and outlets think status quo - every single moment not disrupting past practices is a moment wasted.

As a veteran television and media producer, Patrick Jager has created programming for a vast array of outlets including MTV, AMC, VH1, A&E, Travel Channel, USA Network, HGTV, Bravo, Food Network, GSN, Science Channel, E!, SyFy, Nickelodeon, PBS, Animal Planet, NBC News, Discovery and Reelz Channel and most recently overseeing programming and creative strategy for NBCUniversal’s creativity-focused SVOD: Bluprint. He has put his unique mark on such award-winning series such as Behind the Music and Biography, and led the development, sales and production team behind lifestyle juggernaut Fixer Upper.

Prior to entering the production realm (and in conjunction to his work in entertainment), Jager was focused on business development and public relations in entertainment, health care, politics and cause-related marketing. He also has extensive experience in the management and development of both consumer and charity special events. In 2000, Jager was appointed Managing Director of Special Projects/Events for the Democratic National Convention’s Host Committee, where he developed and oversaw all LA-sponsored events leading up to and during the Convention, including financial symposia, community events, and all high-profile events.

Jager is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and the Producer’s Guild of America, and serves as advisor to several non-profit and academic organizations, including the University of Colorado’s College of Arts and Media, the University of San Diego Advisory Board, Colorado Public Television, the United Way and Urban Peak. He lives in Denver with his husband, son and two dogs.
