Maggie Zeltner currently serves as Director of Development and Programming for HGTV. In her role, Maggie identifies and develops new projects and talent, as well as oversees existing series.
Since joining the company in 2015, Maggie has developed and overseen hits for HGTV and DIY including The Nate and Jeremiah Home Project, Tiny Luxury, Island Hunters, Boise Boys and Design Star: Next Gen. Since the inception of Discovery+, Maggie has also developed and overseen Home Category content exclusive to the platform such as Kendra Sells Hollywood, Reno My Rental and House Hunters: Comedians on Couches. In addition to Home, Maggie has developed shows at the Food Network and Travel Channel including , prime time series Family Restaurant Rivals and Boat Buyers as well as overseeing successful shows like Burgers, Brew and ‘Cue.
Maggie also serves as the liaison between the Programming Team and Digital Team; spearheading convergent opportunities for HGTV.
Maggie began her TV career as the Executive Assistant to Docu-TV pioneers, Mary-Ellis Bunim and Jonathan Murray. Since then, Maggie has produced, directed and overseen many hours of reality programming including multiple seasons of America’s Next Top Model, multiple seasons of TLC’s What Not To Wear, Love Lust or Run, MTV’s The Real World and Sorority Life and Style’s Split Ends – which garnered her an Emmy nomination. Maggie loves telling stories and clearly, Lifestyle TV is her passion!
Maggie holds a B.A. from Emerson College.
