Jin Woo Hwang is co-Founder, Executive Producer and President of Something Special, Korea’s first ever Format Production Agency. He is an award-winning global Format expert, producing more than 40 primetime television shows; developing 112 original Formats at CJ ENM and has been a production consultant in 22 territories. Jin Woo is the former Head of Formats & Content Development at CJ ENM Media Content Division as well as former Head of Global Content Development at CJ ENM Media Solution Division. He is certified by the Government of Korea as an industry Expert (NTIS #11630347) and is a FRAPA General Board Member. As of December 2021, Jin Woo is the Chairman of the Korean Format Association. In 2018, Jin Woo was awarded Prime-minister citation for his dedication to Korean content as an industry pioneer. Jin Woo’s production and development credits include: Better Late Than Never, I Can See Your Voice, Love at First Song, Let’s Go Time-Travelers, Golden Tambourine, Top Gear Korea.
