Accessibility

At Realscreen, we believe that our diverse industry should be reflected in everything we do. We want to make sure that all attendee experiences at our events are accessible and inclusive, and we are committed to identifying and removing barriers to access through a range of services.

To request an accessibility accommodation for the Realscreen Summit, please contact us by email at customersupport@realscreensummit.com. In the meantime, here are some general Q&As to help you understand the service options that will be available at the event.

How do I request an accessible hotel room at the InterContinental Miami?

You can contact Ester Gavidia (ester.gavidia@ihg.com) to request an accessible room, and please feel free to share any other details that are important for your visit.

Wheelchair accessibility and mobility

The hotel front entrance, as well as entrances to all onsite event spaces and restaurants, are wheelchair-accessible.

Are there accessible washrooms on all floors where the event is taking place?

Yes. There are accessible washrooms on the lobby level, atrium level and 5th floor.

Do you provide companion passes for support persons?

Any attendee who requires the physical assistance of a support person can request a Companion Pass at no charge. This support person must accompany the attendee needing assistance in order to be permitted to enter sessions and networking events. Please email customersupport@realscreensummit.com to discuss your needs.

Do you allow service animals at the event?

Realscreen welcomes ADA-recognized service animals that are trained and certified to do work or perform tasks for people with physical disabilities. Animals that provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA, and are not permitted at Realscreen events.

Does Realscreen provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters?

Upon request, Realscreen can provide an ASL interpreter for sessions taking place in the main session rooms. Attendees who require ASL interpretation for any other sessions or business meetings will need to arrange these services themselves and request a Companion Pass accommodation (see above).

Is there accessible seating available at sessions?

Accessible front-row seating will be reserved and available in the main session rooms on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have specific seating requirements for any of our other session rooms, please contact customersupport@realscreensummit.com to make arrangements.

Will there be a quiet room at Realscreen Summit?

Upon request, Realscreen will guide delegates to a dedicated therapeutic space to help focus themselves so they can be better prepared for participating in the program and networking with others. Please note that designated quiet rooms will not be provided for non-therapeutic purposes such as taking meetings or making phone calls.
