Kevin Hill
Head of Television
Maximum Effort
Kevin Hill is the Head of Television at Maximum Effort Productions, co-founded by Ryan Reynolds and George Dewey. Since joining he's helped launch the Maximum Effort Channel, a new FAST channel in partnership with Fubo, and produced five originals for the platform including Bedtime Stories with Ryan, starring Ryan Reynolds and The Syd and TP Show, starring WNBA players Sydney Colson & Theresa Plaisance. He'll also be EP'ing scripted and non-scripted projects with networks including Hulu, Max, Fox, ABC, FX, Disney+, Nat Geo, CBC, Super Channel and more.
Prior to Maximum Effort, he served as the Head of TV and Digital Development at Seven Bucks Productions, co-founded by Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia. During his time working with Seven Bucks' slate expanded with projects such as Behind the Attraction and Stuntman for Disney+, The Titan Games and Young Rock for NBC, Finding Justice for BET, the Leo nominated feature doc Breaking Olympia, and development at HBO, Paramount+, Viceland, and Amazon Freevee.
Before joining Seven Bucks, Hill spent over six years at William Morris Endeavor in the non-scripted television department where he worked with a cross-section of producers, brands and talent including Johnson and Garcia, WWE, Reddit, Les Twins, Daveed Diggs, Andrew Jenks, Film 45 and Eli Roth, among many others. While representing Les Twins, Hill negotiated their deal to star in Sony Pictures’ Men in Black spinoff alongside Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson as well as Cats directed by Tom Hooper. Additionally, Hill assisted with the sales of documentaries including Ghostheads which sold to Netflix and The Bill Murray Stories: Life Lessons Learned from a Mythical Man which sold to Gravitas Ventures.
Hill also worked for the current co-President of the P.G.A. Stephanie Allain of Homegrown Pictures (Dear White People, The Fighting Shirley Chrisholm) and producer Paul Hall (For Colored Girls, Shaft) on the set of films including Peeples starring Kerry Washington and Good Deeds, written and directed by Tyler Perry and starring Thandie Newton.
Kevin currently lives in New York City where he was born and raised to support the Yankees, Giants and Knicks (and any NY team really), for better or for worse.
