Lisa Holme is Head of Content for Roku Media, overseeing the vision, creative strategy, and go-to-market execution for all content initiatives. She leads The Roku Channel and the teams behind Roku Originals, Acquisitions, Programming, AVOD/FAST, Roku Sports, Roku Brand Studio, and This Old House.
With nearly 20 years in media and technology—and 15 in streaming—Lisa brings broad experience across original and licensed content, strategy, partnerships, insights, editorial, personalization, and international growth. She has led global teams of 200+, managed over $20 billion in content investment, and worked across film, TV, news, sports, and podcasts in both creative and business roles.
Before joining Roku, Lisa was Global Head of Content Strategy, Merchandising, and Podcasts at Warner Bros. Discovery, supporting the company’s streaming portfolio. She previously held leadership roles at discovery+, HBO Max, and Hulu, where she helped scale the service from launch to 30 million subscribers and debut its Live TV offering.
Lisa began her career at Illumination Entertainment after consulting at McKinsey & Company in New York. A Yale graduate with a degree in Psychology, she lives in Los Angeles with her semi-nomadic husband. She loves mountain adventures, travel (carry-on only), musicals, and puzzles.
