Anna Bloomfield is Vice President, Development & Production for HGTV Network Originals and streaming content where she is responsible for developing new talent, series, and specials. She has developed shows such as Divided By Design, Married to Real Estate, Rico to the Rescue, Down Home Fab, and Kendra Sells Hollywood on Max in which she also served as Executive Producer. She led the way in HGTV’s first foray into scripted holiday movies where she oversaw script development, casting, and production for A Christmas Open House and Designing Christmas that premiered on the streaming platform discovery+.
Prior to this role, Bloomfield worked in development and production at Momentum Content where she oversaw a slate of high-profile projects and sold content to History Channel, Travel Channel, Sundance, and Netflix.
Bloomfield has worked across many of the Discovery networks such as Investigation Discovery (ID) where she developed more than 280 hours of content, including Shattered, See No Evil, Married with Secrets and Evil Lives Here. She’s also responsible for leading ID in its exploration into scripted content such as the award-winning anthology series Serial Thriller, as well as TV movies Fatal Vision starring Scott Foley and The Dating Game Killer. At Discovery Channel, she developed shows such as Blood and Oil, Airplane Repo, and America’s Doomsday Plan.
