Jessica Zalkind serves as EVP, talent and development, at Wheelhouse Entertainment, overseeing and steering talent strategy for the company that operates as a strategic partner for creators and traditional talent.
Responsible for identifying and nurturing undiscovered, emerging and established talent across all platforms and genres, Zalkind works across the entire media, sports and consumer landscape – from television and streaming to podcasts, publishing and gaming, as well as corporate initiatives and investment – creating a tailored approach for each talent designed to expand their reach and elevate their businesses and market value.
Prior to joining Wheelhouse in 2025, Zalkind was a highly regarded and sought-after talent executive and producer who rose through the ranks of Paramount and MTV for more than 20 years, from talent producer to senior vice president of talent & content development at Paramount Global (formerly ViacomCBS/MTV). Her deep expertise in talent discovery, series development, trend and influencer spotting and brand partnerships led her to put some of the most notable names in entertainment and culture on camera for the first time. She has worked with Awkwafina, Ali Wong, Charlemagne tha God, Chrissy Teigen, Jake and Logan Paul and Liza Koshy, among many others, and across seminal hit series including The Hills, Jersey Shore, Punk’d, Teen Mom, Ink Master and more.
