Allison Polly is the Head of Original Programming at PepsiCo. In this role she has defined PepsiCo’s relationship to its IP creating a standard for partnerships, development and distribution for its iconic portfolio of brands. Since building this capability she has developed, produced and sold over ten feature films and docuseries in partnership with major studios, to be distributed globally in movie theaters and on streaming platforms.Her work has been selected by more than 20 film festivals including Sundance, Tribeca, TIFF and Cannes, and garnered numerous industry awards.
Ms. Polly has over 20 years of experience in branded entertainment, first in advertising as the SVP, Creative at McCann Erickson; she later launched Filmaka, the first global entertainment studio, with Sandy Grushow, Deepak Nayer and Werner Herzog where she led ground breaking projects between brands and Hollywood creators.
Recent projects at PepsiCo include Memes and Nightmares with Starry in partnership with Springhill Entertainment and sold to Disney; Stewart 27 with Rockstar in partnership with Imagine Documentaries and sold to Disney. All the Reasons Not to Quit with Gatorade in partnership with NFL Films. Past work includes The Rugby Boys of Memphis with Gatorade for ESPN, The Show with Pepsi with Boardwalk Pictures for Showtime, Hood River with Gatorade in partnership with Stick Figure and Robert Rodriguez for HBO.
Allison is a graduate of Brown University and later studied documentary filmmaking at NYU Film School with the legendary Albert Maysles.
