Marcella’s house in Los Angeles has been family-owned since 1977, when her mom purchased it after working long nights to be able to afford her family the American Dream. After Marcella received a letter in the mail last year saying her insurance program would no longer be available in California due to increased frequency of severe wildfires, she decided to become a Who Should Pay Ambassador. Now she shares her story to bring awareness around the Climate Insurance Collapse, and how we can all work together towards shared solutions to protect ourselves from an impending financial crisis threatening to crash the economy even worse than 2008.
