Bill Margol has over 30 years of experience in the media industry as a Producer, Development Executive, Network Executive and Head of production. He has developed and created groundbreaking and acclaimed documentaries that have reached from the stars to the stage to the farthest places on planet Earth and into the inner workings of the brain. In 2017 Bill won the Emmy for Outstanding Science Documentary for developing and executive producing A Year in Space for PBS and was again Emmy nominated in 2020 for Dave Chapelle: The Mark Twain Prize and 2021 for 8 Days: To The Moon And Back. He created the long-running and highly acclaimed series Brain Games for National Geographic, and developed and oversaw production of Travel Channel’s longest running hit series Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations Bill has led production and development teams in the creation of hundreds of hours of content for PBS, National Geographic Channel, Travel Channel, Turner Network Television and Sci-Fi Channel and TIME Studios. In his current role as a Creative Executive and Media Consultant, Bill has been working with major producers and broadcasters to create, focus and shape content and content strategy.
