Speaker Dane Joseph
Dane Joseph serves as a Vice President of Unscripted Series for Walt Disney Television, where he’s helped spearhead the development of the streaming unscripted series slate for Hulu and oversees current for over dozens of unscripted series for Hulu, ABC, and Freeform, including the record-breaking launches of The Kardashians and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Vanderpump Villa, Emmy-nominated Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi, and the upcoming reboot of Project Runway.
Prior to Hulu, Dane served as a Vice President of Development for MTV and VH1, where he developed such series as My True Crime Story, Infamy: When Fame Turns Deadly, My Celebrity Dream Wedding, The Surreal Life, multiple episodes of the True Life franchise, and many more. He previously oversaw development at Hot Snakes Media where he did development and casting for such networks as Bravo, Lifetime, TLC, BET, Discovery, Animal Planet, Oxygen, WeTV, HGTV, and more, with series including The Sisterhood: Becoming Nuns, Breaking Amish, Return to Amish, Escaping Alaska, Extinct or Alive, The Pioneers, and many more.
He began his career as an NBC Page and at CNBC, is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy and Seton Hall University, and holds a masters from Columbia University.
