ADAORA is an award-winning journalist, media executive and producer.

Currently, she is Vice President of Programming and Operations for PBS General Audiences. She leads operations, business operations, editorial, and strategic teams that oversee over two thousand hours of programming annually. Editorially, her portfolio covers news, current affairs, indie films, docs, and digital series across television, streaming, and third-party digital platforms.

During her tenure, news, current affairs and documentaries distributed by PBS have substantially increased the number of digitally distributed content and been nominated for many dozens of awards across Emmys, Duponts, Peabody’s and Oscars, including a win by Frontline for 20 Days in Mariupol.

Adaora has also worked successfully in emerging tech, including artificial intelligence and virtual production. Previously, she worked at CNN, ABC News, and New York Public Radio, where she was acknowledged with many honors, including Dupont and Peabody Awards, as well as Cine Eagle honors and from the Academy of Arts and ts and Sciences. Previously she was named one of the top 25 most influential African-Americans.

Additionally, she has worked in venture capital and management consulting. Her work and work she has contributed to has premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, Toronto Film Festival, and Google Platforms, among others.

Adaora graduated from the University of Michigan and received a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law. She holds dual American and Irish Citizenship and has lived on four continents.
