Jennifer Harkness is charged with the creative production oversight of documentary and unscripted programming for Blue Ant Studios. With a key focus on true crime development for the US and International markets, Harkness executive produced Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies (Peacock), Prince Andrew: Banished (Peacock, Channel 5), Evil by Design: Surviving Peter Nygard (Starz) and Epstein’s Shadow: Ghislaine Maxwell (Sky). She also served as Executive Producer on the Kids in Hall: Comedy Punks (Amazon Prime), Ghosting with Luke Hutchie and Mathew Finlan (CBC Gem) and Slaycation (Crave).

Prior to joining Blue Ant Studios, she served as SVP, Sales and Development USA for Cream Productions, where she developed and executive produced the critically acclaimed docuseries, The Story of Late Night (CNN). The six-part series examined the legendary hosts and moments of late-night television.

Harkness previously co-founded the successful, fast-paced, digital agency, Jumpwire Media, running business development for the company that focused on media content creation for multiple platforms. 

As Head of Development, Factual Entertainment for Temple Street Productions, she developed and produced series including Recipe to Riches (Food Network Canada, Global) and the competitive music show Cover Me Canada (CBC). An industry veteran with over 20 years of television and film experience, Harkness has also held the key positions of Executive Director for the Banff World Television Festival and Production Executive for Canada’s Global Television Network.
