Laura Crowson is Vice President, Development for Discovery Channel. In this role she is responsible for bringing new series and specials to the network while supervising the development and production of concepts to green light. Crowson also helps set development strategy for the network.
During her tenure with Discovery, Crowson has managed the development of such series as Naked and Afraid, Expedition Files, Deadliest Catch: Bloodline and Undercover Billionaire.
Before joining Discovery, Crowson served as a development executive/producer for Gurney Productions in Los Angeles. Earlier, she was in the agent training program at Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
