Public service broadcasters around the world have always faced challenges -- from the financial to the sociopolitical, and many points between. But recently, the issues needing navigation have become more pronounced: from governments calling for fundamental changes in funding, to rapidly shifting audience behaviors. Luckily, PSBs have a history of innovation and adaptation, and have often led the way in the evolutions -- and revolutions -- that have shaped the TV industry.
