Speaker Rachel Bailey
Rachel is the Senior Acquisitions Manager at Channel 4, with responsibility for purchasing unscripted series for the broadcaster’s suite of channels and streaming service. Her slate includes a distinctive range of factual programming across all genres, with a particular interest in travelogue, true crime and secret history, as well as international reality series such as Married At First Sight Australia and the Below Deck franchise.
In collaboration with distributors and other partners, Rachel also sources unscripted pre-buy opportunities – such as Ancient Greece By Train with Alice Roberts and Chernobyl: The New Evidence
Prior to joining Channel 4 in 2024, Rachel was Senior Acquisitions Manager at UKTV. She has also led content sales for NBCUniversal in Australia and New Zealand and held several senior content roles at BBC Studios spanning editorial strategy, business development and programming branded services around the world.
