Grant Mansfield

Plimsoll Productions
Grant Mansfield is the Chief Executive and Founder of Plimsoll Productions.
Since launching three years ago, the company has produced over 40 series for both domestic and international networks. The company’s credits include the groundbreaking 50-hour order for Camp Zambia (Love Nature, Smithsonian, Blue Ant International), Life at the Extreme with Davina McCall (ITV), Earth Live! (NatGeo), Teach my Pet to Do That (ITV) and Rescue Dogs to Super Dogs (Channel 4, Animal Planet) among many more. Recently, the company announced the acquisition of Andrea Jackson’s Magnify Media.
Before launching the company, Mansfield spent three years in Los Angeles as CEO of Zodiak USA where his credits included: Secret Millionaire, Celebrity Wife Swap, Hardcore Pawn, Lizard Lick Towing and Killer Karaoke.
Previously, as managing Director of RDF, based in London, credits included: Ladette to Lady, Holiday Showdown, Oz and James Big Wine Adventure, Gene Simmons Rock School and Dickinson’s Real Deal.
Before that, as Head of Programmes at Granada TV, Mansfield was responsible for the launch of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. He began his career at the BBC, first as a TV news reporter and later as the creator and producer of some of the corporation’s most popular documentary series, including: Driving School and the long running Vets in Practice.
Throughout his career, Mansfield’s programmes have earned BAFTA and RTS awards. The British Chamber of Commerce recently awarded Plimsoll with the High Growth Business of the Year award, making the company the first independent production company to ever be honored with the award.
