Dane Harrington Joseph is a Senior Director of Development at MTV and VH1 where he develops specials, pilots and series for both networks. Prior to joining the Viacom family, he spent four years at Hot Snakes Media, working his way up from a Casting & Development Producer to eventually become the VP of Development. At Hot Snakes, he worked on such shows as Breaking Amish (TLC), Return to Amish (TLC), Escaping Alaska (TLC), The Sisterhood: Becoming Nuns (Lifetime), and Extinct or Alive (Animal Planet), as well as projects for Bravo, VH1, Lifetime, WeTV, OWN, BET, TLC, Oxygen, Spike, CMT, Nat Geo and more. A proud former NBC Page who also worked in development at CNBC, Dane is a graduate of Seton Hall University, holds a masters from Columbia University, and attended the Interlochen Arts Academy.
