Jennifer Quainton is Vice President of Cooking Channel and Food Network. In her current role, Quainton oversees both development and scheduling strategy for Cooking Channel, as well as daytime programming for both networks.
A member of the Food Network and Cooking Channel team since 2000, Quainton has overseen key day-part scheduling for the brands, managed VOD strategy for both networks, negotiated acquisitions and managed all financial and legal matters for programming. She was part of the executive team that launched Cooking Channel in 2009, and shepherded such series as Carnival Eats, Dinner at Tiffani’s, Sugar Showdown and Food: Fact or Fiction, helping to drive the success and continued growth of the network.
Quainton’s career achievements and leadership in the cable industry earned her designation to Women in Cable Telecommunications’ 2010 Rising Leaders Program. She is a graduate of Denison University in Columbus, Ohio.
