Elliot Jacobson is EVP & Chief Content Officer for RLTV, with responsibility for the network's content and marketing strategy.
Elliot oversees the programming development, production and acquisition teams, in addition to the marketing, PR and digital teams. As a founding executive, Elliot has been instrumental in the growth of RLTV since it was founded in 2006.
An award-winning producer and director, Jacobson has produced both factual and scripted shows, commercials, and feature films. For RLTV he has overseen 1,600 hours of programming, including 38 series and 39 documentaries/specials.
Previously, Elliot held positions as Executive Director Laureate Media, President Production Mallorca Entertainment, Production Executive HapDong Films.
Elliot’s credits include: Cronkite: America’s Newsman, Coyote, The Florence Henderson Show, To Not Fade Away, Taking Care with Joan Lunden, Another Chance For Romance, Daily Café, Healthcare: Search for Solutions, Prime Votes with Cokie Roberts and Sam Donaldson, and Money Matters with Jean Chatzky.
In addition to his position at RLTV he also serves as Chief Content Officer for Seventh State Productions which is now a fully independent entity from RLTV.
Jacobson’s work has garnered multiple Emmy, Gracie, Cine Golden Eagle, New York Festivals and CableFax awards and Best Feature Film award from Rhode Island International Film Festival. Elliot serves on the boards of the National Foundation to End Senior Hunger. Elliot is an active member of the PGA and ATAS. He graduated from USC Cinematic Arts.
