David George serves as president of ITV America, with oversight of creative development and production across the company’s production labels that include Leftfield Pictures (Alone for History), ITV Entertainment (Hell’s Kitchen and the upcoming The Four for FOX and Queer Eye for Netflix), Sirens Media (Real Housewives of New Jersey for Bravo), Loud TV (Tiny House Nation for FYI) and Outpost Entertainment (Forged in Fire for History). George also continues to shepherd the company’s celebrity-branded production deals with such talent as John Cena, Michael Strahan, NBA legend Kenny Smith, Lara Spencer and La La Anthony, among others.
During his tenure at ITV America, which began in 2010 at Leftfield Pictures (Leftfield was acquired by ITV in 2013), George has spearheaded such major initiatives as the franchising of Pawn Stars and developing the groundbreaking History series Alone and American Grit for FOX, as well as the upcoming music competition series The Four for FOX; the upcoming reboot of Queer Eye for Netflix (premiering February 2018); and overseeing current series for Loud TV and Outpost Entertainment, including the Tiny House franchise for FYI and Forged in Fire for History. Other major series include Counting Cars (History); The Real Housewives of New Jersey (Bravo); Cutting It: In the ATL (WE tv); and the critically acclaimed specials Billy the Kid: New Evidence, produced with Kevin Costner, and Brain Surgery Live, both for National Geographic Channel.
Previously, George was a senior executive at MTV, executive producing and overseeing the majority of the 10-year run of hit series Total Request Live (TRL), the Emmy-nominated Legally Blonde: The Musical, and helping launch the network’s digital content strategy for MTV’s Video Music Awards.
