SVP of Programming Strategy, Acquisitions, Scheduling
Robyn DeMarco is Executive Vice President, Programming & Content Strategy for MTV, responsible for leading the programming strategy, acquisitions and content windowing for the network. Robyn is charged with creating a cohesive strategy designed to super-serve MTV's audience and maximize viewership across MTV 360. MTV caters to the highly coveted P12-34 demo in which MTV has been the #1 full day, ad-supported entertainment cable network for the last 4 years.
Robyn is the architect of MTV's content ecosystem which features over 480 original hours of programming annually. Her leadership and management of MTV's short and long-term content schedule includes curating the network's various programming destinations, including MTV's signature primetime originals block known as The 10 Spot and the channel's weekday afternoon and weekend slates. Robyn partners with MTV's Development team to guide future programming and identify opportunities.
DeMarco is based in New York where she resides with her husband and two lovely children. Television programming has always been Robyn's passion. She reports to Stephen Friedman, President of MTV.
