Angel Annussek

SVP, Development & Original Programming

truTV

Angel Annussek is vice president of original programming and development for truTV. In this position, she works closely with Chris Linn, truTV's president and head of programming, and Marissa Ronca, senior vice president original programming and development on the network's expanding and highly successful slate of programming.

Annussek develops new series for the network with a focus on elevating and expanding the brand.  She oversees production and content for her team’s original programming, including pilots, series and specials. Her current shows include the hit series The Carbonaro Effect; the competition elimination series Fake Off; the first reality musical, Branson Famous; and the docu-series Breaking Greenville.   She is helping develop truTV’s comedy brand by overseeing the new sketch comedy series Friends of the People and supervising the network’s first single-camera scripted comedy pilot Those Who Can’t (working title).                                                                  

Annussek joined truTV in September 2004, serving as executive producer on several real-crime series. She helped transition the network rebrand with the hit series Operation Repo, Black Gold and Killer Karaoke.  She is based in New York City.
