Brandon Riegg

SVP, Alternative Programming

NBC and Universal Television

Brandon Riegg was appointed to Senior Vice President, Alternative Programming & Development, NBC and Universal Television in November 2013.  Riegg is responsible for overseeing all current alternative shows as well as new development from pitch to launch.  Current franchises include The Voice, America's Got Talent, The Biggest Loser, American Ninja Warrior, and Hollywood Game Night.

Prior to NBC, Riegg was the Executive Director of Alternative Programming at ABC, where he oversaw all facets of development, production and on-air current programming for such series as Dancing with the Stars, Wife Swap, Wipeout, and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

Earlier, Riegg was Director of Series Development & Original Programming for VH1, from May 2003 until May 2006. While there, he also was in charge of development, production and on-air programs, and additionally was an executive producer on the VH1 series Breaking Bonaduce.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Pennsylvania.
