Michael Murphy
Executive Director
Beyond Distribution
Michael Murphy is General Manager at Beyond Distribution, the international arm of Beyond International, one of Australia’s leading production and distribution companies.
A non-executive director at Beyond Entertainment since 2004, he joined Beyond Distribution as General Manager in 2013 and leads the international distribution team, with offices in Sydney, London and Dublin.
Michael has amassed over 30 years experience in international television and film content and business development, including work on co-production finance, digital content, broadcasting, acquisition and distribution.
Prior to Beyond, Michael founded Channel 6 in Ireland, which was acquired by TV3 and rebranded 3e, Prior to this he was Director of Digital Television at national telco operator, Eircom Group plc and Director of Programmes at TV3, Ireland.
