Jeff Lanter is President and Chief Operating Officer for Trailblazer Studios.
With more than two decades of experience in storytelling, Lanter brings a wealth of skill and wisdom to the company. In his dual role, he focuses on creative collaboration and client relations while managing every stage and aspect of production. Trailblazer Studio’s elite team of content creators boasts nearly 100 original hours of programming a year.
Previously, Lanter served as Vice President and Senior Vice President of Production, where he oversaw Trailblazer Studios’ former divisions, including Serious Robots (post/animation), Distillery Pictures (development/original content) and Red Truck Films (production). Drawing on his strong background in executive producing and showrunning, Lanter drove the company’s unscripted portfolio with titles that include Red Summer (National Geographic Documentary Films) and The Housley Life with Tamara Mowry Housley (YouTube).
Earlier in his career, Lanter served as Executive Producer of Salvage Dogs (DIY Network) for 11 seasons and as Executive Producer, Showrunner and Director for more than 100 episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8 (TLC) and Kate Plus 8 (TLC).
He began his career producing for a wide range of clients, including Land’s End, Honda, State Farm, CBS This Morning and PBS.
